Job Description |
|
|
|
|
 Consultants and Managers specialized in Product Lifecycle Management with CPG focus needed. These roles focus on understanding and improving our clients’ Product Lifecycle Management processes and systems. Major responsibilities include:
- Assist in the implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
- Facilitate business process analysis and re-engineering efforts for client initiatives
- Recommend and educate client on CPG PLM and New Product Development best practices, including new product introduction processes and product commercialization
- Advise on formula management best practices
- Design and configure PLM software solutions to incorporate new business processes
- Train client personnel in PLM software tool capabilities and functionality
- Perform data conversion design/loading activities.
- Assist in designing and developing custom reports and queries
- Assist end users with conference room pilot and acceptance testing
- Ability to work overtime, sometimes at short notice
- Must be willing to travel frequently – domestically and internationally - and stay at client location for extended periods of time

Requirements & Skills |
|
|
|
|
- Degree in Science, Engineering, or IT. MBA or graduate degree preferred
- Excellent understanding of PLM and CPG Industry trends and best practices.
- Knowledge of PLM software solution capabilities, such as Sopheon, Formation Systems, Agile, Matrix One, Team Center, Eigner, Dassault, Optiva, etc.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment
- Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving abilities, strong business process analysis and design skills
- Fluent in English and one other language
- Effective organization and time management skills, with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

Experience |
|
|
|
|
- Ideal candidates will have practical experience in one or more of the following areas: product design/development, product innovation, product management, engineering design tools (MCAD, ECAD), software development tools, formula management, packaging, artwork and label management, product data management systems, product portfolio management, or cross-functional product development collaboration
- Experience with formulation of products, formula management, regulatory management or packaging management strongly preferred
- Previous consulting experience at a major consulting firm preferred.
- 2 – 4 years previous experience with the PLM systems listed above.
- 2 – 4 years work experience in the CPG Industry required
- Experience with leading and facilitating business requirements and business process definition, application design/configuration and integrated testing activities.
- Experience with training and support of end-users
