Niels brings over 10 years of professional experience as a management consultant in Innovation, Product Lifecycle Management, and New Product Development to Kalypso Europe and his Partner role.

He serves clients in the high technology electronics, discrete manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, and food and beverage industries around Europe.

Prior to joining Kalypso Europe, Niels led the Dutch value proposition for Product Innovation & Lifecycle Management at Deloitte Consulting, where he also coordinated the European PLM Center of Excellence activities.

Niels has managed several PLM transformation projects for major multinational clients and smaller enterprises, with projects including development and implementation of innovation and PLM strategies, ideation capabilities, diagnostic assessments, vendor selections and full PLM implementations.

Niels has a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering and holds a MSc in General Management from Nijenrode University.

Outside the office:

Niels resides in Schagen, a small town near Amsterdam, the Netherlands. On Sundays, you’ll find Niels playing soccer for the Grasshoppers. He loves traveling and spending time with family and friends during his free time.
